Default Garmin 74SV/ 741sx

Thinking about swapping out my Garmin 741xs for a Garmin 74sv. Right now, I've got a Garmin network setup (NMEA 2000, 840xs, Garmin AIS 400). Reason why, is the 74sv has Chirp SideVu; the GCV-10 I have, doesn't really do a true Chirp SideVu.

My question is, does the 74sv have the same networking capabilities as the 741xs? My 840xs and 741xs share everything over the Garmin Network (G2 Vision card, way points, AIS data, engine info). The Garmin site only states that the 74sv has one Garmin Marine Network Port for Panoptix.....whereas the 741xs has two.

Appreciate any insight into this....

No .... the 74 sv is not NMEA 2000 certified. I would recommend looking at the 742 xs it offers a lot more features and is more robust and only $100.00 more. It has full touchscreen capability where as the 74 does not.
