Default Lowrance 3300c 1.6 Update.....anybody have it??

Waiting for a MMC card to update my 3300c Anyone have the latest 1.6 update? What Upgrades

are there?

Was wondering if digital overlay capability is included to display the fuel EP-10 data? The Lowrance

website gave a few details about fuel level sensor capability.

Many of the upgrades for the 3500c have been talked about, kind of have the feeling the better

upgrades for the 3500 are not available for the 3300c. Thanks..talk to you later.

I upgraded my LMS-337 to v1.6 and did see new menu options for NMEA devices. Unfortunately, I didn't have the proper NMEA network terminators so I could'nt get the head unit to see my EP-10's that I just installed. I'm heading to the boat tomorrow (hopefully) with the terminators. I'll let you know tomorrow or Friday if I get it working and what the display shows. I won't be able to run the motors since I haven't yet splashed.

cool thanks, now your other posts on 120 terminators make sense.

didn't think about asking 337 owners bout the update...that is the same year gps but in the dual finder unit???

Good luck to getting your boat done.

Also can you post the part numbers for the network cables you had to purchase as well as the t's and terminator part numbers.

Thanks and let me know if the trim tab gauges are available on the head unit as well.

Seeya...and hope you get to splash your boat soon.

Yeah my unit is both GPS and FF. I almost got it all working! I am short one network extension cable but was able to at least see what the head unit overlay data looked like for the EP-10. Since my head unit screen is rather small (6") I'm probably going to invest in a LMF-400 gauge soon. Using the head unit's overlay data for the EP-10 I was able to pick 4 different data elements (can't remember them) and had a choice of how to display them: digital, slide gauge and gauge. Digital was just the data and slide gauge was like a bar chart. I was able to view just the NMEA network data or split the screen between GPS Chart/NMEA data or FF/NMEA data. I can't speak of how the EP-10's performed because I'm still on blocks :-(.

Not sure what your head unit came with for NMEA networking but it looks like the NMEA cables and terminators my unit came with (in 2005) is all going into the trash. None of it can be used. Mine came with a "Y" able and a 60 Ohm resistor which are all pretty much useless to me.

Here's a link to all of the NMEA 2000 network parts:

I purchased the Expansion Kit Part 119-50, a "T" connector part 119-48 and a 25' extension cable part N2KEXT-25BL (the only part number I have). I will also now need another expansion cable to connect my GPS antenna.

Here's a link to a Lowrance NMEA 2000 Networks manual:

Hope this helps.
