Default Simrad with Navionics Platinum Plus for Louisiana Marsh

Is anyone using this combo? Is the aerial detail as good as it looks on the web app when you turn on the satellite images?

I'm looking to replace my Garmin 741xs with a Simrad Go9 or reman NSS Evo2 9 and while I love the detail of the Louisiana Bayou chip from Garmin, it is slow as molasses to load the imagery and the lack of Garmin to introduce integrated sidescan into the new 942xs leads me to want to switch camps.

I personally run a Raymarine unit but I've got a friend running Simrad with the Navionics+ card on the west coast and he is very happy with it. If the area you normally fish doesn't have a lot of detail out of the box you can record and upload sonar charts which will update your chip with more detailed contour lines.
