Default information available from 82xx => 76xx => GSD 25 => 42xx

Hey guys, I currently have a 4210 with a furuno 585. I am repowering my boat and am installing a simrad AP 24. I recently purchased a 8212 and a GT51-TM. I am either going to get a GSD 25 or a 76xxXSV series MFD for the Side and Down scan capabilities. If I get the GSD 25 I will get a non XSV model. My question, how information will be shared to my 4210 on the network (Radar, sonar etc etc) and what will be available from my simrad AP?

Thanks

My suggestion would be to get the xsv over the GSD, it's actually cheaper. The radar will share over the Garmin Marine Network cable. The pilot data will share via the n2k backbone

You wont be able to share charts or auto waypoint syncing with the 4210. The 7600 and 8200 will share everything over the marine network (Ethernet).

Buying a 7610xsv is much cheaper than a 7610 and a GSD25. The internal xsv sounder module is excellent.

I was under the impression that the GSD 25 module is the black Box of the internal sounder found on the xsv?

It is. its just a $200 premium to go to the xsv model vs. $900 for a GSD25. Only buy the GSD25 if you don't buy a 7600 at all.
