Default Which radar

thinking about adding radar to my center console. I have a NSS Evo 2 12 inch and a Garmin 7610xsv. I would like to mark other boats and maybe even birds. I would like to stay under 4500.00 or less.

I've got Garmin 7212 with radar and NSS EVO2 12" with HALO. I like the ease of use of the Simrad.

Depending on how large your boat is, you may want to have a scanner no larger than 24". Others would be too large and too heavy. The smallest HALO would way about 60 lbs, and has a 3' scanner. Due to the height of the radar scanner on a small boat, you would not see other boats out past 10 miles or so.
