Default Can you ID this Transducer?

This is on my boat now, came with it but I don't know what unit the previous owner was running. Anyone know what this is? Can I use it with newer MFD's or GPS/Plotters?

It says Skimmer on the side. Is this a Lowrance unit? Worth anything?

Value is a couple of bucks to a guy that wants or needs one as a backup. Wouldn't go to great lengths to save it on removal in expectations of selling it

Agreed.

It is a Lowrance/Eagle 83/200 skimmer transducer. Likely a HST-WSbL.

Not worth much. And looks old enough that you wouldn't want to use it with a new unit anyway- transducers can lose their sensitivity over time and those inexpensive OEM ones were average to start with.

Remove it and replace with a new transducer that suits whatever new unit you get.

Depending on age it's a HST-WSBL as mentioned above or the older 192 kHz version of the same transducer. You can get this transducer model or the newer HDI version (including DownScan) bundled with a new Lowrance or Simrad unit almost without any additional cost..
