Default New boat what transducer recommended

I have a couple moths till new boat is done. Meanwhile choosing all my electonics!

All Garmin equipment. 7616 unit. I like to deep drop as much as anything else. But do fish in shallow water from time to time. I want at least a 1 kW with chirp. My last boat worked almost perfect but I had a 8212 with GSD 26 box
The new boat builder told me I needed a 24* degree but thinks a 20* is the most angle I will find. He will glass it in for me I just need to get it to him. if I go that route

Should I do two transducers one for shallow one for deep?

Help, driving myself crazy.

I went with the b175m and 3D structurescan. Can't tell you how it performs because my rig is ordered but not being built yet.

A B275C-LHW or PM275C-LHW will give you both shallow and deep.

the 20 would work for a flush mounted transducer in a 24 degree hull. If your going with a B265 fairing block transducer the angle will be matched during the install.

Thanks, I asked the sales person here in Stuart today! She also said the 265 but was concerned about the room it will take up with the flailing block? Then they said maybe do two of the through hulls one for deeper and one for shallow water. I'm not sure I would like swapping be and forth. Does that sound crazy or not that big of a deal to do?

It's not a big deal. You could go b175hw and a gt51 and gain down and side Vu
