Autopilot on Reg 26
Help!!
What suggestions on an autopilot for regulator 26 with yam225's.
C120 system fitted
All help greatly appreciated

Raymarine 6001+ smartpilot would work well - tested and proven unit...
A TR-1 would be better in that it has no rudder feedback unit to worry about, but would be substantially more $$$

Thanks for the speedy reply.
With the second unit you metioned what exactly would I need to connect it to the c120, I am a muppet at this sort of thing

I had a Simrad AP11 on my Regulator and it worked great

they ALL connect to the NEMA output of your GPS that sends info to the autopilit - couple wires, that's all....

We have had TR-1's now on two boats and they are awesome. We got tired of replacing rudder feedbacks on the simrads. IMO you cannot go wrong with the TR-1. Good Luck.

Simrad AP 16 with virtual rudder feedback..works great.

I'll second the simrad........ ap 1603 vf..(no rudder feedback to break).....mine works great......jeff
