Help needed please

Default Help needed please

I have a lowrance elite 7 hds and a standard horizon gx1300 radio, the nmea is a little confusing, can anyone help please i have attached 3 documents on came from lowrance support

If you go to our website under the help tab there is a whole explanation about how to connect NMEA 0183 wires. I would take a look there and see if that clears anything up for you.

looks like

VHF yellow to Lowrance yellow
VHF green to Lowrance blue
VHF white to Lowrance orange
VHF brown to Lowrance green

Thanks does the vhf green not go to the ground ?

I don't think so.

If you were connecting to a Garmin, that instruction might apply - since Garmin has only (+) NMEA 0183 wires

but it looks like Lowrance uses both (+) and (-)
