Default Stereo housing

I have a 2004 infinity by smoker craft pontoon. I purchased a replacement radio, due to the old radio being so old I could not find the spectacle to ensure I was getting one comparable in size. The new radio showed up and of course the cut out it to large. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix the hole that is too large?

I would agree. Starboard is a simple and inexpensive fix to this problem.

Then would you simply make a "faceplate" to cover the hole with a new hole for the new stereo?
