Default How deep can Garmin 74sv read the bottom?

I fish out of Miami and am often in 500+ feet of water. My Raymarine A77 with an Airmar P66 transducer that will not read well in over 400 ft.
I am thinking about switching over to a Garmin 74sv and wondering how deep the side view, down view and traditional sonar can read.
Anyone have any experience? If so, how do you like the unit overall?

The echoMAP CHIRP 74sv includes a GT51 TM transducer.
The Side and Down Vu best less than 200' ..under most conditions.
The traditional....targets (Fish) to about 500' and bottom to 1000'.. depending on conditions.
Some get more....others less..

But best results are at trolling speeds .
