Default :Lowrance Sonar Hub interference with FM Radio

I am just finishing up the new instrumentation on my boat and all was going well until I powered up the Sonar Hub.

I installed 2 - HDS-12M displays, one sonar hub, one Fusion MS-IP600G iPod Radio, one Fusion MS-WR600 wired remote control, and a powered AM/FM antennae.

All worked great until I powered up the Sonar Hub and then the radio reception was gone. Lots of static and limited reception. The radio is mounted in the cabin but the remote is about 2' away from the Sonar Hub in the helm. I tried testing with the remote turned off with the same results. I noticed that the closer I got the antennae to the Sonar Hub the worse the reception got. I am surprised that the Sonar Hub would emit so much interference.

I move the antennae about 10' away from the Sonar Hub although the antennae lead passes within 4' of where the Sonar Hub is installed. The reception is better but still not good. I checked all the grounds and they seem to be solid.

Has anyone installed a Sonar Hub with similar radio reception problems? Any suggestions on where to look?

To close the loop in case this ever shows up in anyone's search for a similar issue, the ethernet line between the Sonar Hub and the MFD appears to be the culprit. Remove that and the interference goes away. The AM/FM antennae lead and antennae needs to be more than 4' away to not have interference from the communication line between the Hub and MFD. I removed the lead from the helm area and moved it to the opposite side of the boat, no more interference.

I guess that I was lucky that I did not have room in the Helm to install my radio or I would have had to move the Sonar Hub to a location below deck which would have been a much larger tear up to the wiring.
