Default Wet sounds stealth bar for boat...what ha think?

I have a buddy that installed a wet sounds 10 speaker stealth bar on a golf cart that sounds awesome. I was thinking about installing one on the underside of my hardtop on the boat. Any reviews on these, is that a good idea?

Thanks in advance

These are designed for just that application. We just did one on the Wicked Pissah and the owner couldn't be happier with it. Its really a nice piece with multiple mounting options and built in Blue Tooth and is available with a built in amp!

Thanks Brian. I will call ha this week. I think that's what we're gonna install

No head unit required right? I can just stream Bluetooth through phone...?

Also can you use Bluetooth if you have no cell service (out of range?)

Yes you can as long as you have the tunes downloaded to the phone and aren't trying to stream Pandora or Spotify.

I have one on my golf cart. It is an awesome device. Once it is paired to your phone it is easy to connect to. I just hop in the cart, turn on the Stealth bar, open up Pandora on my phone and it starts playing. We have installed these on lots of boats and have had no issues thus far. On mine I even installed RGB LED's inside the grill so the whole thing glows. Its pretty awesome.

We have them in stock, just 1 day shipping to you. Let me know if you'd like one.

I have the SonicHub that I am running through my HDS Gen 2 Touch. I am looking for speakers to hang under my electronics box so that I can hear the music while running. I think that the WetSounds Stealth bar is exactly what I am looking for. Should I look to the Core or Ultra to run thru the SonicHub? Thanks.

Ultra has an amp built-in. So you just feed it with RCA's from your Sonichub. The Core is more like a regular speaker and needs an amp.

Hmmm... Compressed, digital, Bluetooth audio. Not much worse for fidelity.

I'll bet it would sound nice if you use the 3.5 input for your Hi-Res audio player.

If you're listening to, say, high quality headphones in a quiet environment I agree. Or an audiophile system in a dedicated listening room, same thing, bluetooth = crap.

But on a boat with the sky high noise floor, bluetooth is awesome. Not trying to insult you but I doubt you've heard a good sound system on a boat through bluetooth. Absolutely perfect application.

Really? I've got more electronics than a 3rd World Nation and upgrade all my electronics yearly.

I hate my bluetooth and only listen to the Pono Player while on-board. Tone deaf?

Just to clarify. The Wet Sounds Stealth Sound Bars do have built in Blue Tooth and yes its not the best way to get a signal, lest we forget that the Wet Sounds Stealth Sound Bars have 3.5mm audio connections in and 3.5mm audio connections out. For those that may not be familiar this means that the Wet Sounds Stealth Sound bars connect via your headphone jack as well!

My friend has the 10 speaker sound bar and it rocks man, steaming through his phone using Bluetooth and Pandora it sounded great to me. I'm getting one for my boat, sold me. No head unit needed, very simple and what I'm looking for.

I have a Ultra 6 in between the legs of my t top where lets say an electronics box would be installed. I had my welder weld two tabs which the bar mounts to. I didn't want to spend tons of money on amps and a receiver and drilling holes, cutting, routing, etc. This thing is perfect, it is plenty loud and crisp. No bass but not to be expected with something like this. Running at 30-40 mph I cannot even max out the volume because its too loud. I am planning on installing a Wetsounds enclosed sub to go with this to give it some bass but its not really necessary unless that is what you are after.

I am a fan and I have been very happy with it the past year and its super clean and everyone on the boat can't figure out where the tunes are coming from because its foot print is so small for the sound it produces.

Get it you won't be disappointed.

My buddy's 10 speaker one has a little bit of bass. Not a ton but enough for me. You stated all the reasons I'm getting one!

Agreed overall, but I recently changed from a cheapy BT receiver connected to my JL amp to the JL BT receiver and it is noticeably a huge difference in sound quality. I much prefer the ease of just using my phone then dealing with the aux cable.
