Default Fusion Remote Clarificatin/Question

I am interested in installing the fusion ms-ra 205 with two remotes. I don't have any nmea 2000 on my boat. I want to use one fusion ms-wr-600c and one ms-nrx200i. Does anyone know what I would need to make this work? Do I have to add nmea to my boat if I want to use the nicer ms-nrx200i?? Thanks!

The factory site says the ms-nrx remote needs the CAB000859 cable and then the other remote would just plug in a different port?

If it were me doing this, I'd setup a n2k network and use 2 MS-NRX200i units. I believe, although I am not 100% positive about this, that you can run the ms-wr-600c, or you can run n2k, but it looks like you can't do both. I'd call Fusion technical support to verify though.

both remotes are different plugs. the 6oo works on the older radios and some cheaper radios with a direct connection. if the radio is N2k you'll need to use 200's. the remotes come with a nmea backbone cables and terminators.

the radio will power the remotes with the existing cable. and the optional one is for connecting to an existing powered network.

you shouldn't need anything other then the radio and 2 remotes. unless they are really far apart. or you want to join otherstuff to the network. then you'll need the non powered drop cable and build your own backbone.
