Default Garmin 541S Hiding Tracks - Getting settings to stick

I'm using a Garmin 541S Chartplotter.

I have a number of tracks on the plotter. I know how to hide them by assigning a color and then going into the Show/Hide settings to hide the tracks by color.

My problem is that when I select a number of colors to hide, those settings are lost after the unit is powered back up. So basically, I have to go through all of the colors and hide the ones I don't want to see each time I go out. Is there a way to get those settings to "stick".

Thanks!

How are you powering the unit down? If you power off the unit using the power key, the settings are saved, otherwise they are not.

It's wired to a switch at the helm, so I've been using that. I haven't been using the power button. I'll give that a shot. Thanks!

Thanks, Todd. You nailed it! I had been powering off the unit with a rocker switch. A simple power down with the button on the plotter saves the changes.
