Default Lowrance elite ti replacement

Hey guys just curious if anyone else wrote a letter to lowrance and got the same feedback ?my elite 7ti is a month old and the screen freezes it's reads the wrong depths at times not a few feet it will say I'm in 300 ft of water while I'm in 20 so I wrote a letter stating I was a charter boat captain and I can't afford to send u back this unit so u can fix it will u please send me a brand new one and I will return the defected one when I receive the new one I will give u my credit card so u know I will return the defected one so I get an email saying sure no problem we wil take ur credit card number and Hold a deposit till the old one is returned has anyone ever done this with navico ?

Punctuation exists for a reason.

As far as them holding a deposit until the defective unit us returned, sounds good to me.
