look at HC on the island they do reasonable prices on Airmar stuff
have a SS-555 with lowrance end which is same as b-60 thur hull or bracket mount it .
just go with a p66 for a lot less ....

iam currently running the HST-DFSBL 50-200 so i dont think the p66 would be much of a upgrade, would like to run a chirp transducer since i have the sounder to do it.
i would love to have the ss 175hw but not able to aford it at this point so think the ss 75h is my next best choice, iam using it mostly for salmon down to 100ft.
i have bought allot of stuff off HC over the years & are great to deal with but they stock very few airmar transducer so they have to special order from US so i still pay shipping & duty.

funny that Gil has said he won't ship to BC
other option is contact any high end alloy boat builders they may carry SS airmar's
i got my used SS-175's from Denise at HC
but to be honest not seeing that greater difference from the p66 that i run as well

Gibsons Sunshine coast b.c.

also using mine for salmon

Yah i was suprized too but thats fine, strange you are not seeing a big diff in the 2.
Would be disapointed if that was the case, have you had much time to play with the 175,is it a m or h?

have a high and low via a BSM-2 installed thru hull along with a p66 and LSS-2
p66 is just into one of the NSS-8 and the Lss-2 which is powered by sonarhub
if i later may get a high wide just would then go via the sonarhub .
either transom mount or replace the low thru hull one

talk with BCTony hes running a full house low med high and wide
