Default JL M600/1 help..

How everyone doing? I have the JL 600/1 amp setup to power 2- 10" subs, but for some reason I don't hear much bass coming from it?!? I'm using a fusion ud-750 I have tried to turn up the sub filter on the head unit and on the actual amp but hear not changes.. Do I need to buy remote bass adjuster ??

Dumb question but did you check the blue wire and the rca cables?

All tone controls set flat.
If you have duplicate lowpass filters (on both HU and amplifier), and the HU filter cannot be defeated then remove the amplifier filter or raise it to the highest frequency. Raise the remaining highpass filter to a higher (or highest) frequency as a test.
Then if you have a HU zone control for the sub output, raise the level. The amplifier will have an input gain control that can be adjusted higher.
These settings may not be the final settings but are just recommended changes in the course of changing the status.
Check that both woofers have the same polarity. Disconnect one woofer to see if you get a change.
Check that the amplifier is properly grounded and measure that the amplifier is receiving the correct voltage level across its primary power terminals.
Per the amplifier manual, check the amplifier status LED.

If this is a new install, possibly your amp gain is all the way down? Also make sure you have the RCA's on the amp hooked up to the input RCA connections.
