Default Battery drains even with battery switch off.???

I have a new Grady-White with twin Yamaha 200s.
I turn both battery switches to off and even select the main breaker to off.
Boat sits a month and the port engine never wants to start till I move both batteries to the 1 and 2 selection.

Any thoughts?

If you have an ACR hooked up directly to batteries - it will also draw some. Hooking up that ACR to the switch terminals keeps its functionality but eliminates the draw when switis in OFF

put a clamp meter on the batter leads and see what's drawing.

CO monitor, stereo mem etc.

a month is a long time to leave a flooded battery not charged while connected. plug the boat in.

The Yandina ACR draws no current when not combining the batteries.

Some bilge pumps detect if there is water to be pumped by starting up momentarily to see if there is any load on the impeller. These small pulses will accumulate and slowly discharge the battery.
