Default 7612 xsv with regular 7612. 2 transducers ?

The factory (pursuit) is installing that combo instead of two xsv units as their electronics package. Will this limit having two chirp transducers? Or could I at least have a traditional b260 that it is coming factory installed with and a additional chirp unit? I don't think they will allow me to get specific with the package deal plus it's a done deal now. Getting excited about the new os385 with triple 300s. I would like to add side and down vu later in chirp. Thanks.

The xsv has two transducer ports...and 8 pin and a 12 pin.

You can use both portsfor CHIRP... or you can have one CHIRP and the other non CHIRP.
And then you can network both MFD units to share the sonar images.

Thanks and just to make sure. Will you be able to display it on the other regular 7612 if they are networked? Thanks.

If you have 1 xsv networkef to another non xsv you can display the sounder data on both. 8 pin and 12 pin. Traditional, CHIRP or down and Side vu

I have one 7610xsv and one reg. 7610 with a B265 CHIRP transducer. As Brian stated, as long as your units are synced together, you can display your sounder on either screen. I highly recommend the B265 transducer over the B260, you'll be happy with it. I swapped out the B260 for the 265, same dimensions so it's an easy swap. Just my two cents. One down side is that I do not get SideVu or DownVu with it.
