Default Garmin 3210 questions

Just bought a new to me boat that has older Garmin electronics on it. I plan on upgrading at some point, but it won't be this season, so I'm gonna have to make due with what's currently on the boat for now. It has a Garmin 3210 unit with a GSD22 box, sonar, and radar. I just browsed through the manual for the 3210 and I didn't see anything in the instruction manual that shows the unit is capable of split screen use of the gps map and the sonar at the same this possible with this unit? I did see a reference for radar overlay on the map, but nothing about using the map and sonar at the same time via split screen. Am I wrong in assuming there is no way to use the gps map, sonar, and radar all at the same time on the 3210?

Is the radar or sonar compatible with any of the newer Garmin MFD's, or am I looking at a complete overhaul of everything in order to upgrade to a newer Garmin MFD?
If none of the current stuff on the boat is compatible with the newer Garmin MFD's I will be going back to Simrad when it comes time to upgrade.

Refer to page 41 of the Owner's Manual for the instruction on split screen set-up.
