It's awesome, gets good signal even under the ttop. Easy to use and bluetooths to your phone for easy texting. I use mine for quick check ins or to talk boat to boat while fishing. Has cut my sat phone usage in half.

Thanks for the feedback, that makes me feel better . I am actually getting it for my daughter who will be out 3-5 days at a time well offshore. Just piece of mind for Dad . 😁

Had mine since Feb of 2014 and has been trouble free and worked EVERY time I have used it. Offshore from 20-100 miles out and 600+ miles south in Baja, pacific and gulf sides never a problem. Whats great is I can get confirmation on messages sent that it was received. And gives piece of mind to wife when I'm away. I think the plan is like $15 per month and can send unlimited preset messages when all is well, 99% of the time and can text specific information on situation if needed.

Works great. Have had mine for over 2 years. Got a second one last year. Took one on fishing trip to Guatemala - no issues.

They were recently acquired by Garmin! What could go wrong??! lol

It works great off the cape. Got mine a year ago. Definitely worth the cost.
