Default Mounting Radar Dome on CC "Hard" Top

Any experience or advise on mounting a 24" radar dome on a "hard" top? The boat is Pioneer 222. My prior experience was with CC soft tops where there was an aluminum structural member to attach to. My hard top may have a structural piece between radio box and top, that I cannot see? I have asked Pioneer but not yet heard.
Thanks
RD

I think the top is sturdy enough to mount the radar dome on, especially where the radio box is, as it's all one piece. Let me know what you find out, as I am considering adding radar to mine too.

Keep calling Pioneer. I would want to know how the top is constructed before I started drilling holes.

You should be able to feel around and find the mounting plate if one was installed.

24 is pretty big on a boat your size. The 18 would be plenty. You already have the 24?
