Default Garmin 4212

Hey fellas- Been a while since I've posted but I can't seem to figure this out. I had a faulty Garmin 4212 unit that at times would not turn back on and and other times work perfectly. Aside from that I had all my marks stored and the structure/maps I used always worked well. Since the unit was faulty Garmin took it back and sent me a refurbished 4212 with maps etc. I lost all my marks but I thought Garmin came through big with the refurb. My problem is I fish the the mid Atlantic out of Ocean City Md and some of the detail/ structure does not come up??? For instance the Hot Dog/ Masseys Canyon do not come up. All I get is the GPS coordinate that I input but I do not see the contour of those spots like I did on the old plotter or on my physical charst. I've tried turning chart detail up and that does not work either. I believe the map is the Bluechart g2 so I should get that detail. I feel like I've played with everything but still can't get it. It's driving me crazy. Any ideas? Thanks.

Do your bathymetric lines show in the fishing chart mode?

When you zoom out, do you should see the boarders/limits of the chart?

Do you have the SD card installed? That is the only way that you will get the full detail. I bought the 2013 m in 2014 as it as a third of the price and the only major changes are on land and because I am out of Chincoteague that buoy change. But for the structure it is worth it. Hope this helps
