Default Accelerated Rusting within a Bilge Area

What would cause an accelerated rusting in a bilge area as if he had been flooded with saltwater on a relative new boat, but never flooded though. Bad grounding or something else?. How does one go about checking for bad grounding?

If you have been spraying the bilge with colrox without rinsing well it can cause rust & corrosion.

Thanks Eddie! Answers to above questions: Thru-hull fittings, sea cocks, fuel pick-up valves, latches, etc. Does anyone know of a good way to test if a boat has an electrical charge leak? Don't have any pictures.

Are any of these fittings grounding through the electrical system. If so, it kind of seems like it could be electrical. I recall on my other boat I had a few grounds bolted to the through hull fittings..

What do you use to clean? Also, any batteries overcharge and off gas lately? You spray any kind of protectant on stuff? C6-56
