Default What is this?

There is a small square white box, about 3", with a little red button in the middle with the number 20 on it. It is mounted in a compartment in the rear of the boat.

Sounds like a circuit breaker. Is this on an inboard/outboard boat?

Default Why a circuit breaker?

And not a fuse. Is there a good reason for one over the other?

Yeah some times fuses are hard to find and change out, when your using the boat. U can reset a breaker much easier
