hello fellas, i'm in the market for a pair of jl M7.7's for my center console and was wondering if any of our vendors have any deals going on? i looked at amazon and they are selling a pair with JL tweeters for 439.99. can anyone out there let me know if i can do better? i have just replaced my amp with a much powerful amp and the pioneers have said no more. thanks for the help.

If per the purchasing details, the Amazon offering is fulfilled by JL Audio via an authorized JL Audio dealer in your area then it is a legit deal. If not, then it is a product that is without a warranty, is of questionable origin, may be a very old serial number, with a question as to whether it is correctly labeled relative to a 'T' or 'C' version, which is critical to the application.
You won't have any trouble getting a competitive price from a local authorized domestic JL Audio dealer or authorized on-line JL Audio dealer.
For authorized on-line dealers there is a JL Audio website page of listings, one for automotive products, and one for marine products. If the dealer name is not on that list as an on-line dealer then they are not an on-line dealer. Period.

I understand what you mean now. Everywhere i go its the same price even from our vendors... So i might just go get it locally from west marine or something and earn point on my card. Unless our vendors have a coupon or discount or something which i have not seen yet. Fingers crossed.

It's always a good idea to use a local dealer, especially when doing a complete system and when you need their technical or installation support, provided they are qualified to provide that support.
