Default Who is making best side scan?

Who has the best side scan that is just plug and play and only needs a transducer? No extra boxes or high tech stuff. Garmin, Lowrance, simrad, raymarine.

I'd say if your after clarity and distance, Raymaine sidevision is good for 600+ feet. I can't say how intelligible the data is at that distance, but dang if it isn't super clear! It's similar to Raymarines Downvision. There are a ton of awesome screen shots online for that.

Garmin...they have some very good systems.
Most of these are from THT members

Even at 242 'depth .here one can still see bottom changes out to 300' to 500' on each side

Are you fishing fresh water or salt water? Fresh water looks great, salt water requires some constant adjustments, on a hummingbird.
