Default Help plz. How can I connect my speakers to cell headphone plug?

Hello I am new to boating and don't know much about electronics. My boat's stereo burned out on me and I don't really need or want it. Instead I want to turn the "one DIN" hole left behind with a pocket of some sorts and be able to plug in my boats speakers to my cellphones headphone plug. My boat's speakers are simple 6.5 boss with just two wires coming out without any plugs. Could someone please refer me to or supply a link to what adapter of sorts I need to make this happen? Also have searched a lot of pages online looking for the one DIN pocket and I can't find one. Any help will be much appreciated.

3.5 mm to RCA to an amp, your phone wont put out enough power to drive the 6.5 Boss speakers

yes that should work. you can ask any car audio mechanic to add a basic amp for you.

Better yet, you can buy a 50-70 dollar bluetooth 1 din head unit with built in amp and put it in that spot over the pocket. This would let you stream music from your phone so you dont need to be plugged in.

Bluetooth example: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_905KDX3...?cc=01&tp=5684

Single Pocket:

I buy 80 dollar car Sony radios from pep boys, and plug into headphones jack. Plays Pandora all day. You will need a power booster if you want the speakers to last
