Default Connecting VHF radio to plotter for GPS

I want to know if I can connect my Icom M602 VHF radio to a Raymarine C90w plotter so the radio can receive GPS coordinates from the plotter. There is a GPS port on the back of the radio. Thanks

Yes, I believe so, via NMEA0183.
Have you looked at the Icom M602 manual ( p. 49) and Raymarine combined A,C & E series manual (p. 71 &72) ?

Ok look into the info you provided. Yes nmea0183 is used for both. I bought the icom radio used and did not com with the radio. Can I use a generic nmea0183 cable to connect the 2. Do you know what pin combination I need to us for receiving gps coordinates from plotter?
Thanks for the help
