Default Garmin 5208 bezel

I need to pull my 5208 off the boat and send it to Garmin for service.

How do I remove the grey bezels to access the screws?

My 4208 and 5212 are flush mount and the screws are accessed from the backside on them.

Ahhh, interesting.
Ok, I'll try that.

I thought I read online the bezel popped off and the screws were in the corners.

Thanks

There was another post recently, albeit a different model, and that poster said beware, the bezels are not designed to be removed. However, since you're returning it for service, perhaps Garmin will send you a new kit. I suspect tiny plastic clips that were only really designed for install.

I think they are the same as on the 740 and those are easiest snapped open the side from the end that is towards the middle of the short side... A lite hard to explain but...
Then you should be able to snap the longer side off one by one..

Good luck!
