Default neam2000, yamaha engine data, and Garmin 741XS

I think I may have asked this question in the wrong forum last time...

I have a brand new F200XB (inline 4) on my fishing boat and I want to run all the engine data up to my nema2000 backbone and have it displayed on my Garmin 741XS.
I have read older threads and see that this is easily done with a Lowrance ep-20 cable.

What is not clear to me is if data like warnings, diagnostics, engine fault codes, and the ability to clear fault codes will come up on my Garmin? I am hoping all of this is on the public bus and they are not proprietary messages that I need Yamaha specific CAN gateway to tx and rx.

Is that functionality available?

Has anyone successfully gotten it to work?

The alarms all show up on my Garmin 7608. I don't know about clearing fault codes, but the alarms definitely work. I haven't seen any kind of menus or buttons for clearing fault codes and the like- so I would imagine it doesn't have that functionality - but I guess it is possible when fault codes actually get sent that the menu or buttons then populate.

As noted in my post, the following-

Just did this with an 840xs and 200 HPDI/ Command Link (square) gauges. Just a note, I had to put a NMEA 2000 Power Isolator Tee between the Interface cable to the Command Link buss bar (in my console) and the Tee that powers the backbone, then terminated the backbone on the other side of the interface cable Tee. My Lenco trim module was being energized WITHOUT turning the ignition switch on, until I put the Isolator Tee in the backbone. I am running a 21 Contender. Haven't run the motor yet (still under shrink wrap up here in RI), but now getting most static engine info when turning ignition switch on, to the 840xs. Hopefully this setup works properly when motor is actually running.....
