Default GSD-26 + Airmar R599LH performance

Does anyone have this setup that can tell me about performance in deep water?

Actually I want to know which black box on the market that performs best in deep water.
Because I already have R599LH. There are 2 serious black boxes which are GSD26 and BSM3.

I think GSD-26 is 3kw black box but 3 years old.

BSM-3 is new but 2kw.

I dont know if any of them better than other!

But the most important thing is the real life experience for me.

That is why I want to hear from people. I dont need to see surface in 12000' but swordfish at 1800'

Need to look on the SDcard have more.

Get the wide version. Went from a R-111lh to cm-599hlw and it was night and day difference.

I'll try to get some deep shot off the boat this weekend. The Wide high frequency is great for inside 1000' and finding bait ball out deep.

If you have the original (non CHIRP) R599LH and not the CM599LH, you might consider the Furuno DFF3.

Thank you for screenshot! I already bought the normal one not wide. I have seen lots of GSD26 screenshot but havent seen big fish screenshot as tuna or swordfish! do you have any?

and I have found this problem about paired gsd26 with r599lh at this link;

Just realized that shot is with my old r-111lh that did not read well and temp didn't work. But if look at 1,500' you will see a bait ball. Right after that we caught 120# tuna. I need to go through some more photos.

did you set the special setup like limit the low frequency to 33-60 to solve the problem?
