I had a hard time finding a place for a sub in mine so went with the JL Audio 8.8's in the rear, 7.7's in the front, and 6.5's in the top with a M800/8 (bridged 2 channels for the 8.8's) in the console. It kicks pretty hard. As far as I can tell, the only place to mount a sub would be in the console. I have the Gamefish center console...it looks like you could mount one there...but there isn't enough clearance for the livewell.

If you live near west palm I could let you try my wet sounds as-10. It's a powered sub that would fit in the console.

Thank you for the responses! Unfortunately I'm in South Carolina and won't be down to Florida until Christmas.

Where in SC? I'm in Charleston and you could listen to my system if you're close by.

It would be loud. I asked Brian how loud it was before I bought mine. His reply was, "it drops!" Brian is not a liar.

You got any pics? I'd love to see the layout

Going to add an amp and sub when mine comes in. I would mount the sub in the console on opposite side of door of course. Should be a place to put the amp under console also. I have put several in wakeboard and pontoon boats but this will be my first CC. I like how this guy over on KW forum installed his.

Worst case scenario, drop a marine self powered Bazooka tube in your console. We have two 8" sitting on our console floor along with a JL 10" in the leaning post where the lure bag storage box was.

Added one of these to my factory set up on my Ultra 225. Made a huge difference. by adding this, I was able to take the bass out of the other speakers and make them sound better as well.

Fisherman561, Do you have any pics of how you mounted the 10" JL in the storage box?

Yep factory receiver. I cut a hole on the opposite side of the console from the door. 3 wires (pwr, ground, remote turn on) plus some rca's, installed in an hour. I liked that it matched the factory speakers as well. Sorry for the sideways pic but you get the idea.

I like that setup and it looks great! I still have the factory system, I think I will add one of these as well.
