Totally confused on which transducer for Simrad NSS 12 Evo2 ?

I am outfitting a new boat with a Simrad NSS12 Evo 2 interfaced with a lowrance HDS 10 Gen 2. I am using a LSS 2 structure scan ducer and a Airmar P-66 which I will connect to the HDS 10. Question is which threw Hull ducer should I use for the Evo 2? I am basically wreck fishing in water seldom to never more than 200’.
Thanks RB

Serious concideration should be given to the b175hw, if thats out of budget the the b175 m would be a second choice

Wow glad I asked from what post I read I would have thought that the b164 would have made the better fit being I fish in 100’ or less with a very rare 200’. Do I need a BSM 3 unit to pair with these transducers?

You can get a B150 and it will do well and in a totally different price category. But if you want the best the B175W is it. Either transducer, you do not need a BSM3, and they will plug into the Evo2. The B150 you have to get the one with the Navico plug. The B175W will come bare wire and you have to add the Navico pigtail connector.

The ducers you have with the HDS 10 will work just fine with the NSS Evo2. If you want a thru-hull ducer, I would recommend two options:

B60 (12 or 20 degree) 50/200 bronze thru-hull transducer $269

HDI 50/200 & 455/800 (0/12/20 degree) bronze thru-hull transducer for traditional and downscan capabilities $469

For the depth you are fishing, either of these are great choices.

Personally I would choose the B150M over the HDI, for wreck fishing I'd give up the HDI part for the better fish definition/separation. But the HDI transducer is a much better alternative to traditional transducer.

I think what Brian is saying that you may want to consider an high end transducer because it will give you the best results. All mentioned will work but Brian is pointing out the you should consider spending the extra money because of the improved performance.
