Default Fusion 205 no bluetooth

Just had Fusion 205 head unit installed along with Fusion amp and 4 speakers and BT200 module. When installer went thru unit with me all audio sources---Sirius XM/Bluetooth with IPhone/Am and FM with all worked great. Controls on Garmin unit (5212) functioned correctly.
Went out to piddle around on boat (in metal shop) and could not get Bluetooth to function. IPhone recognizes Fusion 205 and says it's connected. Head unit set to Accessory but no audio? What to check? Get static in speakers when audio source is set to AM? Ideas?i

does the bt200 AND the Fusion 205 show up on your list of devices in the settings of your phones bluetooth? You may be connected to the radio instead of the Bt200?

I remember something weird like this with my 205

I have selected BT as source. Procedure for updating?
Should the BT200 module be shown in my IPhone's BT device list? (It's not)

There are a few things you can do / check:

1. Update firmware on the RA205 via USB. These units are like I Phones and sometimes require updates.

2. Make sure you have power to the BT100.

3. Check sources as other have noted.

If none of the above work the BT100 may have failed. It happens on occasion. Call Fusion and they will swap it out for you.

Update-- disconnected BT200, reconnected, then did another pairing procedure and all is well.

MIke,
I have a BT100 connected to my Lowrance SonicHUB and I was using a :Lowrance HDS8 Gen2 with excellent results. I recently installed a HDS12 Gen2 Touch and the sound quality thru the BT100 from my Iphone 5 and Pandora is awful!
FM,AM and Ipod are excellent.
Is there a problem with the Iphone or the BT100?
I'm going to hookup a Blackberry blue tooth this morning to see if there is any difference.

Interesting. Sounds more like a sonic hub issue than a bluetooth issue. Check the connections. If you purchased it form us I will swap it out for a new one no questions asked. Just send it to my attention and and a copy of this thread.

I hooked up my older BlackBerry Bluetooth and the audio is nice and clear up to full volume. I'm guessing its the Fusion BT100 blackberry.
I got one of the first ones out last year and it was bad too. They sent me a replacement.
I'll call them again.

Update.
Talked to Fusion and they are replacing the BT100, hope they can find out what is causing this problem. It's the second time for me.
