Default Fuel data on NSS8

Hi All,

Currently running a 2003 Yammy F225 and want some way of monitoring fuel used/mpg etc as I plan on doing some longer trips and hate manual fuel gauges.

I know the 03 F225 doesn't speak NMEA2000 so that leaves me with aftermarket options. Lowrance stuff would seem logical as I'm running a Simrad NSS8 but if any other options are better then I'm all ears.

Ringing around today the fuel flow sensor from Lowrance is in very short supply here in Australia, same issue State side?

I see garmin make a flow sensor would it work on Simrad? Same information available? Able to be configured from a Simrad?

Not opposed to the more expensive options either but information on them is hard to find so a good explanation on any of these would be appreciated.

Have an existing network in the boat so just need the details on what to plug in to said network.

Thanks for any advice you may be able to provide.

Marchy

Looks like I'll go with the Lowrance EP-60 fuel flow sensor. Anyone know anyone that has them currently or is the world still waiting?
