Default B260 & B275w transducers

Anyone gone with a new Airmar B275W chirp and not removed their B260 ?
Anyone running both at the same time ?
best to my knowledge run on different frequency so I assume interference shouldn't be an issue.
Downeast boat so not concerned as to having 2 of the big blue fairing blocks hanging down. B260 is midship stb side.
Plan to install new chirp 275 port side of full keel.
Adding Simrad chirp and plan to keep Furuno 585 as backup / redundant, also the fact the 260 narrow angle and 275 wide.
Thanks in advance.

The Low CHIRP bandwidth will overlap 50kHz and High CHIRP will overlap 200kHz so you will see some interference. How much depends on transducer placement and how much filtering you enable. But you can also operate the CHIRP sounder at fixed custom frequencies. This will give the benefit of the low Q-factor CHIRP transducer and allow running both transducers at the same time with minimal interference.

As abbor stated you will see some interferance, especially if located on the same side of the hull. I would think thst if you placed the new ducer on the opposite side that you may be able to minimize some of the inherent interferance.

How did this pan out ?

I would be curious as to the result. Could save thousands
