Default what amps

What amps to power 4 8.8s, 2 7.7s, and 2 10s

All JL speakers, 27 foot center console.

Leaning towards the jl 800/8 to power the 8.8s. 200 wats per speaker.

Then a 1000/5 to power the two 10s and the set of 7.7s.

For this I would go:

MHD600/4 this is plenty for the 8.8
MHD900/5 this would handle 4 7.7 and Subs

Or if this is out of your budget you can go with:

M800/8V2
M1000/5V2

Why not do all 8.8's? That's what I have and I use the 800/8 for four and a 400/4 for the other two, all bridged to 200 amps a channel.

I asked jl about the mhd amps and their support guy told me he preferred the non regulated power supply amps on boats so I went with the m series.

I had to stick a pair of 7.7s in due to the mounting depth in the midship location. I didn't want to do the starboard bump out.

Thanks for the replies guys, I am going to go with 800/8 and the 1000/5. based off of the JL tech line guy yesterday.

Should be LOUD

I have a 800/8 on my two pairs of 8.8's and it's perfect. I also have a pair of 7.7 but only one sub. I went with a 500/3 for the sub and 7.7's. Sounds awesome. Yours will set ROCK!!
