Default raymarine a68 pricing

I've been shopping around for a new ff/gps combo. I was pretty much set on the Raymarine dragonfly 7, which I'm finding for about $550 with transducer and navionics gold.
was shopping pricing on the raymarine a78 and accidentally came across the a68 with cpt 100 transducer and north American gold package, non wifi version for less than $500! Seems like an awesome deal. The wifi versions seem to be going for over $800. There's so many options out there... hard to keep it all straight.
What do you guys think?

Just ordered one of the non-wifi options to use as a dedicated telemetry screen for the engines. It is sick to think that you can get a full fledge networkable screen for nearly the same price as you can get just a data screen. Wifi is neat but in the end, I think that these systems without the wifi are a steal. We have twin 16" GS series screens so they already have wifi so it was not really a concern!

Take a look at the specs of this unit. I believe this is what the OP was speaking of. There is a broshure there for download as well.

Raymarine a68 5.7" MFD Touchscreen w/CHIRP DownVision & CPT-100 - North American Gold Bundle

I just ordered one for the same reason. It's crazy that it costs less than, say, a Garmin GMI 20, but has twice the screen area, and oh yeah, it's also a full-functioned MFD with a Chirp transducer included! It almost seems too good to be true.

Exactly what i was thinking. Only negative being i wanted at least a 7in screen. Michael, would it make sense 2 link 2 of these together next to each other? Seems like it would be an awesome setup for less than $900

It would make perfect sense to have 2 of these next to each other.

At that price I would tile the dash and buy a spare.

Hey guys, I bought a raymarine dragonfly 6 last spring for my boat. At the time it was the best "value" I could find. While surfing the Web a few weeks ago I came across the a68. Like you, I was confused by the amount of options offered vs the relatively low price tag. So I promptly ordered one and listed my dragonfly 6 for sale on ebay. The a68 was delivered to my door for just shy of $450 and I sold the dragonfly for $470! I don't understand why someone would want the dragonfly when you can have a touch screen mfd with all the connectivity options to boot for less money.

Currently I have a lowrance globalmap 3500c for my GPS duties, but I am contemplating buying a second a68 screen and networking them together. Does anyone know where I can buy just the monitor? Thanks
