Default Cleaning Residue from Transducer Face

Just received my B175M. I took the yellow sticker off the face and there is some adhesive residue. I fond it rather ironic that the purpose of the yellow sticker was to tell me to not use any solvents to clean it, yet leaves behind a mess.

Nonetheless, i'd like to clean it. A soapy rag did not work. I have some "citrus" stuff, but I dont know whats in it, and lighter fluid. Or should I worry about it in the first place?

I'm having the same trouble cleaning the sticker residue from a SS264 face. Tried WD40 but won't budge. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

My boat has been in the water for 6 weeks and there is still residue from the sticker on the face of the B175C-M. Leave it be. It's not effecting the performance of the transducer. The only reason I know it's there is because I dove under the boat.

I think I used the citrus stuff (goo gone). Maybe you could contact Airmar directly.
