Default electronics for new boat????

Today we just ordered our new boat (Coastal Craft 300). We have already ordered it with Raymarine E-120, 24 NM radar, sounder and tranducer, Ray- Autopilot (Main engine), E-80 networked, TR-1 for the kicker, and Icom 502 vhf. My question is that since we plan to stay 6 to 7 months a year on the boat what kind of system do we need to be conected to the internet for banking, email, weather, and something to do on those rainy days. (Oregon,Washington,B.C.) We don't know what were getting into, but this lifestyle seems to be better than just living in a culdesac waiting for hunting season once a year. Fish, Fish and more Fish.

Please give your suggestions and advice. ;?

If you are going to be staying at a marina you should be OK with local internet service. Just hook the boat up at the dock. If you will be staying along the coast most of the time but not at one marina a verizon or sprint aircard would do you well. If none of that works and you don't mind spending some big bucks there are some satellite options like KVH's TracVision G8 http://www.kvh.com/Products/Product.asp?id=77

I think yachtjim is right on with the "cellular" card for a laptop... If you are going to generally be places with coverage. The SAT systems can be pretty pricey.

Thank you for your replies. Were not made of money, so I will look into the cellular option. The marinas we have visited did not offer internet service so we thought the public library was are only choice.
