lowrance gps fish finder

Default lowrance gps fish finder

I now have a lowrance x100c fish finder and found a deal to good to pass up on a lowrance lms480 is it possible to use one transducer with these two units perhaps with a splitter of some kind

I believe Lowrance's accessories outlet LEI may still sell their SB-4 switch box ( gray connectors?) which allows 2 units to share 1 transducer. Note however, this is a switchbox for use with only 1 display at a time, NOT a splitter. The box may actually be made by Airmar who sells an at least similar sw.box with connectors available for most manufacturers units. . I don't think a plain splitter would work on non-networked systems due to sonar pulse conflicts amongst other problems.

will the lowrance lms 480 operate with only the gps with no transducer hooked up at all just really want the large screen gps
