Question Raymarine dragonfly

Looking to get fish finder /gps . Raymarine dragonfly 7 e70231-Gps looks pretty good for the money transducer is cpt -60 dual beam. I fish in water from 10' to 200' I need to see bottom structure and fish on it . I fish north east waters for strip bass and black fish will I be happy with the dragonfly or look elsewhere

Yes, start with the Dragon ...but also look at the Lowrance Elite HDI series and the Garmin echomap dv units.
And factor in the maps for your area etc.

All those mentioned by Gil, and your initial unit will do what you want for reasonable money. I would play with them and pick a winner based on your interface preference.

I was just looking at the Lowrance Elite 7 with transducer on Amazon for $449; cheapest I've seen anywhere. Free shipping if you have Amazon Prime.

I got a dragonfly at the beginning of the season. I fish the same depths you do for cod, striper, black sea bass, scup, etc. I've been really happy with the unit. Was out tautog fishing this weekend and was able to find the rock piles and other structure really well. My only complaint about the unit is that it's sometimes a bit tricky to get it in and out of the holding bracket.
