Default Garmin Bluechart G2 Vision from Garmin vs Amazon

The G2 Vision charts on the Garmin site are around $321 for the medium chart and I looked on Amazon and the same new G2 vision charts are $80-$150. Is there a difference between these charts?

The Amazon listings said "new chip from Garmin."

Normally I'd just buy form Garmin to make sure however I will be buying 2 chips (West coast of FL and east coast of FL) so its a pretty big savings if I were to buy the Amazon listed ones.

Are the price variations between sellers that big or are these counterfeit?

I ended up getting two of the large charts for $164 each from the GPS Store instead of $489 each form Garmin. Wow 70% less expensive than buying form Garmin. Yes they appear to be brand new authorized chips.

I bought three Southeast Florida G charts on Ebay VUS-010R for $38 e. and they all seem to work fine.
