Default What is the difference between the Garmin 2010 and 3210

I just picked up a cheap 2010. I used to have a 3210. What is the difference between these models

The 2010 does not have a built-in charts, the 3210 does. The 3210 can support devices like a radar and XM receiver, which the 2010 cannot. Operationally the units are pretty much identical.

The 3210/3010 have a network port to allow sharing of info to compatible chart plotters. You can add radar & other accessories with 3210. Basic chart plotter functions are identical between the two.

So I can't add a sonar or radar? I wish I knew this before I got it. I have c maps left from my old 3210

You can add sonar but it will be an analog sonar.........GSD 21 is the highest it will support
