Default Bennett Marine auto trim tab

Is anyone using the Bennett Auto trim tab controls? I have a 35' Contender that is always needing tab adjustments as she likes to roll a bit (because of the big heavy tower and deep V).

I wanted to get a real world review as to whether or not they actually work or if its a waste of money...thanks

Have had it for about a year and yes it world fantastic. I have a boat similar to yours and it has made my long trips more enjoyable. No more messing with the buttons.

What boat do you have? Is it a relatively heavy deep vee or lighter like a Contender?

But... it's new, they are in Finland and show no US distributor, and likely could not compare in terms of Bennett's renown customer service. But I'd expect this product will have a great demand in the US once it is better known.

If Bennett had this excellent combo available for a 2 station setup with minimum dash real estate requirements , I would be verrrrry interested. Of course, with all those features combined there is also potentially more to go wrong , which is another reason to hope for such a product more locally from Bennett.

I'm a little surprised they didn't beat Mente Marine to market with this long ago.

Thanks for posting the link to that innovative product, keizerh !

Installed the autotab on my Pro-Line, and loved it. Reduced my time to plane, and improved my fuel consumption slightly. What I really was impressed with was when people would move around the boat, causing it to list to one side. The autotab would correct the list instantly. No more adjusting the tabs constantly, to counteract people moving around. Well worth the money.

I sell the AC3000, as well as, other marine electronics. If you would like a quote, shoot me a pm.

Auto retract is not built into the Auto Tab Control System. It can be added by installing part number AR512.

Or the EIC5000 indicator control.
