Default bracket for transom mount transducer

Have a boat that is kept in the water year around.I am installing a transom mount transducer.Does anybody know of a bracket that you can slide the transducer up to get it out of the water, when not in use. Then slide it down when you want to go??Anybody made one home made? Thanks Mike

Thanks for the idea on the hummingbird. Not what I had in mind. What I have is a 33 World cat.Trying to install the new Raymarine Side scan CPT 200.I want to be able to slide it down before trips. Then get it out after,So it does not stay underwater all the time..growth..barnacles?Might have to make something out of aluminum or stainless.Mike

What about attaching it to a power pole?

Thanks but no thanks.A 33 World cat is a large offshore boat.No power poles here. The transducer isn't worth that much.Good idea for the right application. Mike

Haha! I know I've fished on a 33 WC, awesome boat, big as hell too, that's why I was laughing. So you're saying you don't want that crazy looking thing to get in the way when you get in and out of the boat? Sounds like you're going to have to fabricate something, who knows maybe you'll create a market for something that a lot of others need too!
