Question Formula Rocker Switches

I have an older Formula 34 PC with damaged switch actuators/covers. After paying a lot on new OEM covers, I found out my switches have also gone bad.

I'm wondering, can I simply replace the below Carling Contura switch body recommendations from Formula with other models that I've found on sites like eBay? As long as they're Contura II switches, I'm thinking they should technically fit regardless of the model.

Formula Recommendations - Contura II series
  • Off-On - V1DAXTNC-00000-000-XSF1
  • On-Off-On - VLDBXNTC-OOOOO-OOO-XTB1
  • On-Off-On - VJDBGNTC-OOOOO-OOO
  • On-Off-On - V2DAXTNC-00000OOO-XSLT1

Ebay

Ebay I can find V1D1 or V2D1 (on-off) or VJD1 (on-off-on) switches model switches for about $5.00

If you need more info regarding the Carling switches you can visit the elibrary:

You can also call the guys at cmsquick.com when you need to buy the switches, they are very helpful.

I don't know if I'd trust ebay for this. Unless you are sure they are real carling switches, not knockoffs.

The Flounder Pounder site has lots of Carling switches, actuators and the removal tool.
