Default Humminbird 698 HD SI

I just bought a Humminbird 5" With Side Imaging. I'm planning on using it on nearshore reefs and for inshore fishing. The deepest I'll be fishing is 75'
The unit looks like it will do what I want it to do. I want it to side scan docks, rockpiles and sunken trees looking to see if there are fish (sheephead) on them.
It has the advanced charting.
This unit seemed to be the only unit that was complete and didn't need to spend a lot extra..
Any ideas?

Structure and fish are pretty small on a 5" screen...

Keep the SI Range as short as possible depending on the depth water you are in...

Setting the SI image to Left or Right side only will also help make the echoes larger...

When you see something of interest ...activate the 4way cursor, move the crosshairs over the interesting find and repeatedly press the + button to zoom in on the POI...

Also ...place waypoints on possible POI's on the SI image and then reposition the boat to scan closer to the POI with a shorter SI Range ...

They talk Humminbird ... Not so much here...
